IP Lens returns previously collected Pointer (PTR) observations for an IP address. Opening a result does not perform a new DNS query or connect to the queried address.
8.8.8.8 is a Google Public DNS address, and dns.google is a useful PTR hostname example. Its result can also include Registered Owner, network, and location context when that data is available.
This visit has a Google Ads or tag-test URL parameter. If you allow conversion measurement, IP Lens will load
the Google tag and may use advertising cookies to report whether you search or open an IP result within 48 hours.
Google may receive click, device, request, and page data. IP Lens does not use this data for personalized ads.
